Job Description:

  • Responsible for handling all the incoming and outgoing calls
  • Responsible to deal with all inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on the telephone or via e-mail
  • Excellent typing skills in both Nepali and English
  • Greet visitors warmly and make sure they are comfortable
  • Ensure reception area is tidy
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person/department
  • Schedule appointments maintaining & updating calendars, reminding respective personnel for the appointments
  • Keep the attendance book and other materials as required
  • Proactively initiate, develop and maintain effective working relationship with team members
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management
  • Keeping front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material 
  • Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages
  • Receive letters, packages etc. and distribute them
  • Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels etc
  • Check, sort and forward emails
  • Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary
  • Keep updated records and files.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Candidate should have good presentation and communication skills
  • Should have pleasing personality and with a positive attitude
  • Must possess good telephonic manner
  • Should have computer skills such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel
  • Knowledge of office management and basic book keeping
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in English (oral and written)
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities

Education + Experience:

  • Must have completed +2; additional qualifications will be a plus
  • At least 2 years of experience in operation of front desk management
