NIC ASIA Bank has its antecedents in NIC Bank which was established on 21st July 1998. The Bank was rechristened as NIC ASIA Bank after the merger of NIC Bank with Bank of Asia Nepal on 30th  June 2013. This was a historic merger in the annals of Nepalese financial landscape as the first of its ki ... nd merger between two successful commercial banks in the country. Today, NIC ASIA has established itself as one of the most successful commercial banks in Nepal. During the post-merger integration phase, NIC ASIA managed the transition very smoothly receiving accolades from the regulators as well as the stakeholders, paving the way for other mergers and consolidation in the Nepalese financial sector. After the merger, NIC ASIA was recognized as ”Bank of the Year 2013-Nepal” by The Banker, Financial Times, UK. This is the second time that the Bank was recognized with this prestigious award, the previous occasion being in 2007. Job Description:

This position requires an ability to impeccably carry the Bank’s Brand and effectively act as Bank’s Brand Representative. The candidates are expected to possess excellent competitive, market, and business intelligence. S/he should be able to chalk out instrumental marketing plans, strategies and roadmaps and ensure their effective implementation. The candidates should have abilities to train, nurture and groom team members and motivate them for greater achievements. S/he is expected to possess an ability to lead the Branch towards achieving the set goals with enhanced customer experience. 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Manager

 

  • The candidate should possess at least 5 years of banking experience with at least 2 years of relevant experience in the related area/field with the educational qualification of Master’s Degree in management or related field/Chartered Accountant or should possess at least 10 years of banking experience with at least 2 years of relevant experience in the related area/field with the educational qualification of Bachelor’s degree in related area/field.
  • Age not below 25 and not exceeding 50 years as of July 24, 2019

 

Eligibility Criteria for Senior Officer/Junior Officer

 

  • Preferably Master's Degree but not less than Bachelor’s Degree in management or related field.
  • At least 5 years of banking experience in the related field/area. 
  • Age not below 21 and not exceeding 40 years as of July 24, 2019
