Job Description:
We are currently seeking energetic and ambitious people to join our team in Kathmandu office.
A DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR (DAY SHIFT – 1)
B ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEERS (DAY/NIGHT SHIFT – FEW)
C ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEERS (.NET) [DAY SHIFT – 1, NIGHT SHIFT - 1]
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
A. DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR (DAY SHIFT – 1)
- Experience in Performance Tuning and Query Optimization.
- Knowledge of index management, integrity checks, statistics, configuration.
- Ability to detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention.
- Knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, Clustering, Database mirroring, Replication, Partitioning.
- Knowledge of SQL Server tools (Profiler, SSMS, PerfMon, DMVs, and system sprocs).
- SQL Development – ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design.
- Documentation skills for processes and procedures.
- ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEERS (DAY/NIGHT SHIFT – FEW)
- Should have knowledge of web-based programming using PHP, JavaScript and database programming using MS SQL Server.
- Should have experience in web-based projects.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEERS (.NET) [DAY SHIFT – 1, NIGHT SHIFT - 1]
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of .NET Framework using C#.
- Proven record on working Win Form Desktop application.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Patterns and Principles.
- Skill for writing reusable C# libraries with readable code.
- Should have sound knowledge of MS SQL Server T-SQL programming language (large stored procedures, triggers, complex joins).
- Knowledge of Office COM Add-Ins, Windows Service Programming and Application Installer is a plus.
- Basic understanding of SQL CLR (Common Language Runtime).
- Familiarity with web services (SOAP, REST) and API testing tools (e.g. SOAPUI, Postman, Fiddler etc.).
- Should have at least 1 year of work experience on real world projects.
- Familiarity with code versioning systems (e.g. SVN, Git etc.)
- Knowledge of web-based programming using PHP, JavaScript is a plus.
Education + Experience:
A. DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR (DAY SHIFT – 1)
- Should have at least a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience in Database Administration and managing multiple MS SQL 2016 (or higher) RDBMS on large systems.
B. ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEERS (DAY/NIGHT SHIFT – FEW)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
C ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEERS (.NET) [DAY SHIFT – 1, NIGHT SHIFT - 1]
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
