Job Description:

Chaudhary Group has an immediate need for Assistant Manager - Human Resource. The incumbents (4no’s) will be allocated in Kathmandu. S/He reports to the Human Resources Manager and performs a variety of HR functions. S/He is primarily responsible for: compensation and benefits, training and development, employee relations, and recruitment and selection. The candidate must meet the following Evaluation Criteria:

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Job Knowledge with demonstrated understanding of HR management processes.
  • Must be well versed in the local HR management practices including the local labor law.
  • S/He is primarily responsible for: compensation and benefits, training and development, employee relations, and recruitment and selection.
  • Responsible for Corporate function Recruitment, training, policy implementation etc.
  • Share best HR Practices within the units too
  • Workout on Annual planning for the HR function, in terms of areas of priority, key initiatives and milestones to be achieved, HR structure, team roles and responsibilities
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues 
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Skills and Abilities:

  • Good analytical ability and sound judgment, identify training needs and make recommendations on HR related issues and concerns.
  • Good organization skills to be able to work independently and manage work according to priorities. 
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to take quick action to be able to resolve urgent matters.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain good rapport within the organization and with external contacts.
  • Sourcing of quality profiles from database/Portal as per business requirements plan & from the business Units.

Education + Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree
  • Work Experience:  A minimum of 4 years progressively responsible experience in Human Resources management.
